COMICS



Marco Di Tillo began to write texts for Comics in 1974, creating the characters Mark Dhytle and Hud Kelly (right) for Flash issues, from designs by Rodolfo Torti.

In 1975 changes to Lanciostory, writing numerous stories, drawn from various designers.


In 1976 he won the competition of the Roman newspaper Paese Sera "A new Italian STRIP" with the strip "PIERO ", drawings by Fabio Petrassi. He ranks second with another strip "YETI" which will then be published by Lanciostory, The Notebooks of Sale, Arrivano I nostri.




In 1977 he began working as a scriptwriter for "Il Giornalino" for which he wrote numerous stories and created the series of adventures and HANS CHICA ", drawings by Pino Calarco.

From 1978 to 1980 he wrote the series "Soccer giants, " a comic book biography of Pelè, Schiaffino, Facchetti, Rivera, Di Stefano, Puskas, Matthews, Meazza, Sivori, Garrincha, Liedholm, Mazzola, Beckembauer , Designed by Bernasconi and Quinto.

In 1980 he published on The Wizard of Mondadori the history "GROSKY HOTEL", drawings by Fabio Petrassi, inspired by American comics of the '30s.

 


From 1981 to 1984 he wrote the series "The great jazz”, Comics biographies of Charlie Parker, Benny Goodman, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Fats Waller, Lester Young, Sarah Vaughan, Bix Beiderbecke, designs by Rodolfo Torti, Paolo Ongaro, Luciano Bernasconi, Antonio Chiarolla. The series is published on the newspaper “Il Giorno” too.

 


 

In 1984 he created the strip "CICCI " for the magazine Fotografare.

 




 

In 1985 he wrote the texts of "Marilyn Monroe"and " Totò ", stories published by the Newspaper Comic Art, designed by Gianni De Luca.
